We often talk about the season of Lent as the opportunity for us to “walk with Jesus” as he makes his way to Golgotha to be crucified. Walking along the dusty road leading to Jerusalem, we spend extra time in prayer, scripture study, and self-reflection. We reflect on what his death means for us, individually, as well as for all God’s people. We ponder how to grow in our life of discipleship.
During this 2021 Lenten season, we will reflect on the racial divides that challenge us as Christians and as Christ’s Church. Through open and honest dialogue, this Lenten walk can lead us to a deeper understanding of our personal thoughts and attitudes around racial issues.
In this book, author Latasha Morrison shows how we can participate in the work of racial reconciliation.
